A'shua is a Singaporean artist working primarily in the medium of painting and performance. He graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts (Singapore) with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art, and has since presented his works in Singapore, Netherlands, Egypt, U.K., South Africa and Spain. After a sustaining a severe injury during his National Service, a previously athletically-inclined A’shua turned to art as an outlet to express himself instead. This opened his eyes and mind to the possibilities of using art to communicate and represent deeper questions and ideas about life. Today, he leads a band of creative muralist in creating unique pieces of art that raise awareness and promote critical dialogue on key societal issues.
