Her smile says it all.

My mother has been the pillar of support for the entire family through the years. She knows her children best! We don't require a verbal communication as she instinctively knows what is in our heads (mine in particular). She might not be the one most in tune with society's latest happenings, nor does she embrace the technologies that us young people so fervently enjoy. However she more than makes up for it with a love that is unconditional and selfless.

The other good thing about her is that she is willing to listen and understand, rather than listen and reply. This is a trait I highly covet in myself as well.

Thats why she brings out the best in me.
