Reading is good for people of all ages. However, the present trends in the Internet era drag the new generation away from reading habit. Regardless the advancement of new technologies and new media in today’s society, reading is still the most fundamental way of acquiring knowledge. Senior citizens serve as reading role models to cultivate the new generation’s reading habit as teens today are not reading as much as they did in the past. You can only perceive real beauty in a person as they get older and wiser. We can’t avoid getting older but reading keeps the heart unwrinkled.
